ORKIDZ (Issam J) is a Moroccan/American multi-
instrumentalist, producer and DJ. His music is a reflection
of his multiculturalism and his life experiences as a
biologist, traveler and student of traditional and folklore
music from around the world. His style combines tribal,
organic and electronic elements covering genres such as
Organic House/ Downtempo/ Dub, Tribal & Afro House,
Deep House and more. He has performed worldwide as a
DJ and a live looping act and has released music with
some influential labels Sol Selectas, Cosmic Awakenings,
House Music With Love, Lump Records, Cafe de Anatolia,
WAYU, Sirin, Shango Records and more. His music is in
perpetual evolution as he strives to take listeners on new
and exciting musical and spiritual journeys.
